This policy explains how Adore handles your information on this website, adoring.you, while we prepare to launch. Adore is an adult platform for verified, of-age members only. This page is for people aged 18 or over.

Who we are

Adore ("we", "us") is operated by We Are Adorable (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2026/563912/07, a company incorporated in the Republic of South Africa, with its registered address at 222 Smit Street, 21st Floor, Braamfontein, Johannesburg, 2000, South Africa. For any privacy question, or to exercise the rights described below, contact us at compliance@adoring.you. We are the responsible party for the personal information described in this policy.

What we collect right now

This is a pre-launch page. The only personal information we ask for is what you give us when you apply to join Adore as a creator: your email address, a link to your work or your social handle, and your confirmation that you are 18 or over and that the content you would share is your own. If you joined our earlier waitlist, we also hold the email address you gave us then.

We also receive the limited technical data that any website receives when a page loads, such as your IP address, browser type, and the time of the request, which our hosting provider logs to keep the site secure and running.

We do not sell anything here, we do not run advertising trackers, and we do not build a profile of you.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use your application for one purpose: to review it and contact you about joining Adore as a founding creator. We look at the link or handle you give us only to understand the kind of work you make. Our lawful basis is your consent, given when you submit the form. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing us. If you joined the earlier waitlist, we use your email address only to tell you when Adore opens.

The technical log data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure, reliable website.

Who processes it for us

To receive applications and run the site we rely on a small number of service providers who act on our behalf: an email-delivery service that receives your submission and forwards it to us, and a content-hosting provider that serves this page. These providers process your data only to provide their service to us, and are bound to keep it confidential. Where any provider is located outside your country, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep your application while we consider it and, if you are accepted, until your creator account is set up, when the account’s own terms take over. You can ask us at any time to delete your application, or anything else we hold about you, by emailing compliance@adoring.you. We will delete it completely, including from our inbox, and confirm to you once it is done. Waitlist emails are kept until Adore launches or until you ask us to remove them. Security log data is kept only for a short period.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to ask us to:

• confirm what personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it;
• correct anything that is wrong;
• delete your data, or stop us from contacting you;
• restrict or object to how we use it; and
• receive your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these, email compliance@adoring.you. If you believe we have mishandled your data, you also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

Children

Adore is strictly for adults aged 18 or over. This website is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact compliance@adoring.you.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as we get closer to launch. When Adore goes live, a fuller privacy policy covering the platform itself will replace this one. Any change will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
